Our Mission:

The FWDPC is a community non-profit whose mission is to prevent fatal and non-fatal drownings in the Fort Worth area and beyond. We work to achieve our mission by providing no-to-low cost in-water and dry land education to families in the Fort Worth area, and well as virtual education to families everywhere.

Our Leadership

A message from the President...

“Downing is 100% preventable, and the Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition has a proven means of teaching people how to be safe in and around water. I have personally seen what an accidental drowning can do to a family. When the opportunity to be part of the Coalition was presented to me, I knew I needed to step up to make Fort Worth, the community where I work and raise my family, safer.”
